Last Day of Freedom

Hello all,
Last day of freedom the chickens all leave tonight will be over by 4:30 tomorrow am. 8 trailers wil start arriving around 8 pm tonight to pick up the last about 80,000 birds. Have 4 days to clean out the sheds Saturday I leave for Coolangara in Queensland for a week two days after that I'm on my way to Duabi for 4 days than to London to Boston. It has been an eventful journey. From the brokenhearted downtrodden 2 years ago to now a world of difference. I shall always love this place and a part of me shall remain here. My favourite pick would probably be between Tasmania and Darwin which I did not get to this time but promise Perry I shall be back. The scary coast of Port Arthur to Cradle Mountain in Tasmania having diner with the Bishop with a nun no less in Adalaide to seeing the sea dragons and sea horses in Portsea Victoria, sitting in a posh place of a new friend with an old one overlooking Bondi Beach watching a funeral in the sea from a 5th story building, meeting Charlie Watson and being given a momento from the Rolling Stones, driving over 1000 cattle over the plains in Braidwood, shearing sheep in Bombay, swimming in creeks, riding through the hills and mountains in New Zealand, climbing the harbour bridge in Sydney, crawling through another few church bellfres but most of all meeting new and lasting friends & still sharing with ones met all over the world in the last two previous years. My life could not be any better. It will be good to get back with family and friends but not the cold and snow. I hope to see you David and Soupi and all those lovely people in Thailand again looking forward to it plan on going back to Ireland sometime in the next 4 months for a week anyway with a stop over in the U.K. I have now all my tickets to get back and David if the war starts it's hard to kill an Irishman you know that so no worries as they say here. Keep the e-mails coming will try and get back before I leave Oz. Jude sounds good the beaches in summer of course and Wally start planning the party. Darby I got my money tranferred from my banque in Waterville. Natashia and Luke can't waite to see you it shall be good to be in an English pub again. There has been so many experiences too many to tell here you shall all have to waite to read them in my book. Bye for now keep the e-mails coming.

You bet I'll be on to see you unfortunately I'll just be passing through London on the 14th of march onward to home. There is so many people I have to see in the UK it will have to waite hopefully sometime in the fall I shall be over the big pond again. I have in invite back to Thailand from my Irish friend and all his friends had the best time while there plan on going back there on my way back to oz after Christmas. All you loves save your money and come for another journey. The sky is the limit. Unfortunately I had to call this journey short one job, money, and back to court again with the stick. As to Nova Scotia hopefully Jude my Newfie friend I shall catch up with you and the same goes with a room for you as well. I did not remember as so many things happen when you backpack I was having a quick lunch yesterday at Bondi Beach a man sitting right next to me started talking. He comes from Toronto but it was the guy sitting next to him that looked somewhat familar. when he started in the Pom accent I started asking questions. It was the drummer himself from the Rolling Stones (Watson)? I can't remember. \The guy I was talking to first takes care of his drums as he has been a roadie now for over 13 years with the Stones. I got a big mouth memobrila from them as they are playing here in Sydney sometime this week I guess. Maragaret is taking me to Coolengatta up the gold coast she has some type fo place there for a week on the beach. We leave on the 1 of March coming back on the 8th. The chickens will be all gone and it is her break. Leaving here now for the ferry back to Sydney than onto Jason's in Croyden for another night of fun with the Canadians than back to Kemps creek. Congrat's on the baby girl B #2 so many messages to deliver and Wally waite for that party give me a few days rest find a lawyer again for the how many times and back to reality job money work and dancing again. Miss you all will see some of you in the Northeast and the rest well you will just have to waite for the big bird to fly again. Hello to all you special people!

At present at Kings cross. Tried to find the charity shop for some more clothes as the few I do have are almost at rest. At the end of this exciting trip will be back on the 14th of March. The embasseys have put out all the alerts. Have you ever tried to find a ticket in a hurry well it just don't work. I leave Sydney head for Singapore only a stop over than have to stay in Dubi Saudi Ariba for 3 days. Not a bad deal actually have already checked it out and it's ok. The airline puts us all up for the trip back to London so will get to see something I did not expect. From London I only have a 3hour waite to get back to Boston on Virgin. In all the plane ride will be 34 hours. I have not been able to get to any computers since my work on the cattle station. The farm at my friends where I have been staying and going back to on Friday has over 100,000.00 bloody chickens. the are being rasied for meat birds. In about a week they shall all be gone. Every am I go out to the 4 sheds and in aboujt 2 hours time have all the dead birds picked up and into the freeze cooler. Two of the cattle have pink eye so chase them into the lock and spray the eyes, grain the sheep (only 17 of them) and I'm at the pool or riding around with Maragaret. We have been to some clubs let me tell you. GBoing back to the trotting club on Friday night. Funny I raised Standardbred horses so this is really exciting for me. Margaret and I climbed the Sydney harbour bridge last week. It has over 1400 steps to go up to the top which when there you look over to the Sydney opera house and it looks like a midget. It takes in all about 3 1/2 hours to do. I have the picture taken of all of us on top and a certificate to prove it. The last thing we will be doing next week is hand gliding off the cliffs outside of Sydney. I can't see how this can beat the skydiving however I did last year. For all those who are afraid of spiders don't come here. I have taken some great pictures up close of these creatures. All ozies keep at lest two of the huntsman spiders in their homes as they eat so many bugs. No wonder the size of them is incrediable. Obviously they are not deadly like the ones outside. The redbacks are quite big as well slow in moving and on farms they are everywhere as well as the white tip Deadly they are. Snakes I do see occasionaly almost steped on one the other night chasing sheep back to the paddock. Plan on going to a dairy farm in the middle of New South Wales coming back to Sydney in time to leave. Reason is there alot of stud farms of Throughbreds there would like to get a chance to see how they operate and maybe a job on one for next year. Heading for Manly tomorrow and making plans on going through the tunnels in St. James where the river runs through the city and see the railroad station that never was underground as well. Only 10 people can do this once a month so feel honoured. The above ground thing is climbing the city center clock tower only 270 steps compared to over the thousand bridge thing. Met alot of great people and of course have many many stories on that as well. Well gotta get out of kings cross it gets real kinky here at night and it is becoming that time. See you all real soon and keep on sending the light over here so I can send it back. Time to catch the train back to Croydon.
Love to all
Phyllis
