Farewell

When I'm seeing planes and alot of them that means only one thing another chapter in the book is finished and onto the next. My phone has been non stop since I have arrived at Heathrow with friends saying good byes. My belief of no such place as far away is true. Wether or not I shall hit the road again late fall is too far away to tell. My last days in the Uk have been wonderful. I have been staying with old friends I've known since the married years (ug) Before my arrival in North Hampton however I spent 2 days in Cambridge as you all know. As usual things seem to happen when I'm around and things did happen. A guy was riding around on a bike stabbing women. Fortunately I was being walked back to my hostel by a nice young man I had met at the Kings Chapell listening to the choir. It happened almost in front of us. Next am I happened to be walking past a building thought I saw smoke coming out of one of the windows when all of a sudden the fire brigrade showed up. Seems there were people trapped up stairs. this is when I decided it was time to leave jumped on the next train back to London and high tailed it North Hampton.

Toronto is the next stop and looking forward to it. Goodbye to all for the last time until the next beginning, Please stay in touch and just keep on living as this is not a rehersal.

God bless

Sorry About the Blank Email

Hello guys, Well I must of had too much fun with Robin Hood and Maid Marion while in Nottingham. Things got out of hand however when the sherrif showed up so left after two days there with one of my old bunk mates from Brighton and Canterbury. The place was alright the hostel was good as well. Interesting people as usual. I did not know that under nottingham is over 30 caves. Did a few of them while I was there. A castle of course what else I'm in England. This castle has an underground and was able to go on the two hour tour of them. It was raining as usual and cold that was usual to, so going in and out of these doors going down stairs that I thought led to no where took up most of the afternoon. Sherwood forest has nonething to offer except expensive shops to buy expensive things in which I do not have the budget for. The second night I stayed in and enjoyed meeting people from everywhere. Left the next am for a over 5 hour trip by train to Poole in Dorset to meet Anne whom I met on the ship as well as her children. Stayed with her at her friend atTony's house even had a big bed in my own room. Wow. That was a treat. We also met up with another ship mate ozzie Tom. We went to the pub and Anne and I had the best time as the rock group playing were awsome. We stayed there until we almost dropped as we were tired. (not drunk guys) Anne had access to a car so my self ozzie Tom Kate Anne;s daughter and Anne went off to the most amazing places I've ever been to. Corfs Castle and the town it is in was where many a movie has been made. Of course the castle is in pieces thanks to Oliver Cromwell but the hill it sits upon looms over the small village below which has not changed in hundreds of years.A willd flower called blue bells abound here and they are like a carpet. Most amazing as all yhou see is blue throughout the woods, fields ect where ever they are. Even on the walk to Thomas HYardy's house (the authour) The trees here are in full bloom and flowers abound everywhere even blue sky for this event. We went to so many places that day and the next it was one adventure after another picnics the works. Great walks beauty beyhone believe I tell you. This would of been a better e-mail if I had brought down with me to this place I could tell you all the places we did go to. It was a full on three days with Anne. She will be welcome when her and the childrens arrival into Boston later in the year. The train ride took place this am for another 5 hours as I had to go back to London and change Railway stations ride on the tube ect lots of fun especially when you have a ruck sack hanging off you that needs a crane just about now to get it on. My arrival into Cambridge was this evening plus the long walk to the hostel. I'm in a room for 6 a YHA hostel which I don't like as much as the independent ones. I get a full breakfust however with this plus it has a resturant but did the walk anyway into town which seemed miles away to go to Weatherspoons which is cheap, good plus has a great pub and fun people all around. At the moment I'm at an Turkish internet cafe with everyone around me smoking the pipes sitting on the floor, talking in their language and they keep feeding me their mint tea which is great. I had it while in turkey awhile back. Things looking good.

My time is almost running out and the adventures of a new time will begin as this chapter is closing. If I had the time I would of written down all the names of the pubs with strange names I have frequented. Of course you know pub food over here is what the main stay is at least for backpackers. Believe it???????????? The Bishops finger, the dead dog, simple simons, the lying tailor, three blind mice, ect. The towns, villages, hostels were all on the top of the list. Mitch and London if she is still alive as well as Mark was for 4 memorable days. I need another month here to meet up with all the people I would like to see again that have given me invites expecially my friend Elke from Holland. I promise I'll get there girl. Dance on bars????????????? People ask me expecially on the trains travelling to all the different places where would be my most favourite place in the world. I always answer what ever country I'm in at the time. There is no favourite country well except Ireland, I have had memorable experiences in over a hundred of them. Some have been war torn recently, some declared dangereous, some down right nasty but each one has been a memory. I feel I'm at the end of my journey at least in this form we shall see what happens on the horizon as next November I'm free again to fly. How far that will be who knows. Maybe I shall be moving to Canada if so that would be great...................... The one thing I have learned in the last three years however is the soul does not have age and we all seek the same things in life. Money cannot buy what I have experienced if only my eyes could unfold on this screen what has been before me. To all my friends in the world of the backpacker, ships, ferries countries and of course my friends and rellies at home and family. Thank you all for keeping in touch plus you have been such a great audience. So long for now if I get a chance I'll send off one more e-mail before I leave for North Hampton than onto to Torronto on Friday. The big bird will fly at 2 pm from London Heathrow and the little bird will be in it with lots of tears in my eyes. As they say in Ireland God Bless.............
